Classes are open to professional dancers and movers from different backgrounds. KC Masterclass aims to offer a sense the whole in a physical and sensorial way through the exploration and therefore the discovery of new possibilities with our bodies. In KOMOCO research, this practice takes the name of Kreaturistic Character (KC) as we connect to the creature that we are – that we just forgot about – which consequently brings more awareness to our unique artistic individuality to be expressed in endless ways through a series of games and guided improvisational tasks.
The laboratory ends with the sharing and learning of sections from KC choreographic repertoire. For this specific classes, we will share excerpts of the work “Holelah”, choreographed and recently re-staged for the dancers of Nationaltheater Mannheim and from the work “Dodi”, already Introdans Partner Award winner at the Rotterdam International Duet Choreography Competition 2021, was also appointed 1st Prize, Critics’ Award and Production Award by the Tanja Liedtke Foundation and Artistic Director Marco Goecke of Staatstheater Hannover at the prestigious 35.
